Favorite destination? I have several because of the memories. If I have to choose only one, then it would be Cyprus.

Why is that your favorite destination? It was not a destination I specifically knew of or had intentionally planned to visit. I went there because I found an incredible flight/hotel special while in Edinburgh for Post Graduate work. I look back at that trip with nothing but amazing memories of the lessons I learned there. The most important being that until this trip, I always felt I “needed” to travel with a friend or family member. That I could never travel the world on my own terms, or that people would see me and thing there was something wrong with me.

What destination is on your bucket list? Greece and Turkey

Why is that destination on your bucket list? I have always been drawn to Greek Mythology because of the people and places the ancient poets and philosophers wrote about. Then as an adult I read all the books Rick Riordan wrote about Percy Jackson and the Olympians and it made the curiosity and fascination for the area return with much more interest. So much so, that I chose to write my second master’s thesis in Scotland on Greek Reconstructionist religion.

What destinations have you visited? I lived in California, Tennessee, Kentucky, Texas, North Carolina, Scotland, Washington State, and now Massachusetts. In addition to this I spent the summer I turned 15 in a Semi Tractor Trailer with my dad and got to visit 22 states. I have also taken Escorted Tours of Ireland with Brendan, Scotland with Trafalgar, and Jordan with Club Adventures. I also have experienced the Grand Canyon Railway and Sedona as an AAA Member and Employee.

Why should someone book their vacation with you? AAA Members should book with me because I have been able to experience first-hand many fantastic destinations (both domestic and abroad) as well as people and culture that makes each place special. However, the main reason members should book with me is because I truly care about making sure you can check off every travel item on your bucket list and I will be just as excited as you are during the journey we take together to make it happen!

What travel industry certifications have you earned? I passed my CTA (Certified Travel Associate) in November 2019 with over 90%.

One thing you’d like our members to know about you? I was a diehard New Kids on the Block fan starting at 15. I had hundreds of pen pals worldwide because of it but two of my best friends still today are from meeting as pen pals. Now I live 5 miles away from one of them!
